This is 100% no-touch dry van freight with a heavy mix of drop-and-hook. You will average around 2,500 miles a week with a set schedule so you can actually plan your life. Home Time: Regional schedule with the same two days off every single week (Choose Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday). The Reality: Expect 1 to 2 nights out on the road during your work week. The Pace: Averaging 2,500 miles, 10 stops, and 10 drop-and-hooks per week. The Trucks: You get an assigned tractor. No slip-seating. Parking: Secure drop sites are provided for your time off. Pay: Base Practical Mileage Pay PLUS Stop and Drop Pay, Short Haul Premium Pay and Detention Pay $1850-$2000 per week average Extras: Premium pay for entering NYC boroughs. Want extra cash?
