"For me, Marten Transport out of Mondovi, WI has been the best company I have worked for as an OTR or Regional driver. Some drivers are confused by the sliding pay scale, which can make it a little more difficult to figure out your wages, but I feel that is offset by the great detention pay system that Marten Transport has in place. Good equipment, with very good maintenance parameters in place kept me rolling for the most part. Of course today's fleet is plagued with issues from the DEF/DPF systems but that seems to be across any company out there. There are several well placed and comfortable terminal across the US, though my experience was mostly with Tucker, GA or Mondovi, WI and even Laredo, TX. Pay was sensible and weekly, and the scanning system in place made for easy times of getting the information to the company. I have been away for a while now, due to family health issues, but I would ask to return to Marten Transport a 3rd time when I no longer have to be local for the family." - Andrew Y.
